Just wanted to say, that it is a universal truth that my Buddy Kat and Sammie Dog are far and away the cutest cat and dog. . . ever! And yet, Buddy has lost 6 out of 17 zootoo "pet wars", and Sammi has lost 19 TIMES!?! People, let's just be honest with ourselves about this matter. Let's be truthful in these "Pet Wars". Denial never got anyone anywhere. . . . . Perhaps the German Shephards, Zeus and Hera, who Sammi is at war with, are behind this scandal.
That must be the case. Zeus, Hera. . . Let it be known that no matter what you pay zootooers do dethroan Sammi and Buddy as the "cutest pets", the truth will always prevail!

For myself, being an amateur photographer, what I have discovered is: I often vote on the quality of the photos...rather than on the pet itself.. I look to see if the "catchlights" are in eyes, if it is in focus, etc.. I believe many folks do this automatically..

Right or wrong, if there is anyone in the photo other than a pet, I vote against it. My goodness, I think everyone can take one photo that includes only the pet. And have you seen those photos that include only someone's child? Why would you post your child's picture as a pet and include a "breed" description?

If there's a naked lab and a poodle dressed to the nines, I always vote for the au natural!

If the pet looks really pathetic because its owner takes the photo a mile away or in the dead of the night with no flash or posts a very fuzzy photo, there are many times I vote for that pet because I feel so sorry for it.
Could someone please explain to me what pet wars are and how it was started. Thanks.

You go !! I too have no clue how to vote on Pet wars, but my Charlie is a "loser" more than a winner =) but not in my eyes!!

I can't locate how to use Pet Wars, but one of my dogs has been involved. How do I use this feature?
if you click the tab "pets and people", pet wars is one of the options that opens up. I believe you can also access the pet wars on zootoo's home page. let me know if you're still having trouble
The "Pet Wars" are clearly biased. I supposedly have made the most votes, yet I have never voted on the vast majority of the pets who are "winning". I haven't really voted on the dogs, so don't blame me! I've only made a few votes on cats, but NONE for my own (and I don't believe for/against yours). I have voted on "Libirdy Valiant" (a Golden Pheasant) when he did deserve to win.

I think my cats are cute, too!!!!!!!!!!
