This quote is not for the faint-hearted. I know that people on this site love animals and want to do what's best for them, and I do too. Some people go too far with their beliefs, though:

"Every woman ensconced in fur should endure a rape so vicious that it scars them forever." - Gary Yourofsky, "humane education lecturer" employed by PeTA, published Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008 in The Shield, the student newspaper of Indiana Southern University. Yourofsky is a convicted felon that spent 6 months in a maximum security prison in Canada.

What a horrible thing to say. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on women wearing furs, but the equate this to rape is over the line.

Oh I need to say for the record, I object to people who wear fur as a fashion statement. But if you live in Nome or Siberia and you wear fur, well, I won't judge until I've walked a mile or two in your shoes!
