Before I get in to a discussion of why West Plains Reginal
Animal Shelter needs to win this makeover. I would like to comment on the "MORON'S" who have written stupid and negative reviews in their journal or might I add someone elses journal, I will address one such article written on January 14th,2008. This person pretends to be "Gary Hill".
The Gary Hill that I know is above average in mentality, in fact he is gifted. The minute I saw this article I knew this was not Gary Hill (unless there is another Gary Hill in our area), I doubt that very much. In this article the grammer is bad and the spelling is terrible. Gary Hill was contacted and he knew nothing about this article. Gary is not only intelligent but he is caring and loves animals.
Now that I got that off my chest let's talk about why this West Plains Regional Shelter needs this makeover badly. Dennis and Trish Hammen have been very dedicated in providing the unwanted and abused cats and dogs in our area with a second chance, to be adopted and loved and cared for. They need all of the help that they can get in the community in the way of donations and dedicated volunteers. They do not get money from the City of West Plains and none of the workers at the Shelter receive money for their work. Dennis and Trish have done this for some 11 years now and have fought for these animals all the way. Yes, they would probably take food out of their mouth to see that these unwanted animals are receive proper care. An indoor Shelter for the dogs would be WONDERFULL.
