We just received an update on the total donations received from you wonderful Zootooers. Since the journals started, Bobbi and the Strays has received $745 in checks, cash and online donations! That's just in a week's time.

Some of you sent the nicest notes of support. Bobbi was in tears as she read them. The outpouring of love and support has been really wonderful.

I know I've said this before, but it really is giving us hope that we will be able to meet our deadline.

Wow – the outpouring from people around the country is simply amazing. It is so wonderful to see everyone get energized about Bobbi and the Strays. You guys are all wonderful – absolutely wonderful!!!

Let's do some brainstorming and see if there are other ways to raise more money. Maybe we can convince our shelters, or neighbourhood grocery / pet stores, to put a canister at their front desk soliciting donations for the "Save Bobbi & the Strays from homelessness" funds. Or convince Purina to match our donations (raised through ZooToo) with food, so that Bobbi can use more of their resources towards the purchase of a new building. It would be nice to have a feature news story on ZooToo about this as well. Other ideas???

Thank you for getting the word out. Yes, we desperately need help. We will be losing our space at the Vetport in December. We've got to have a new home before then. It will cost $1,000,000 plus for the right commercial property. If you'd like to make a donation, please specify "Building Fund" on your contribution.
