It truly is depressing to go to work each and everyday to see so many homeless animals coming through our doors. The uprise here at our own shelter has sky rocketed... we are taking in so many more animals than our building can even house. We are going to be hitting all time highs for our shelter, which may i add... are already to high. It just tears you down to walk through the kennels and cages and see hundreds of animals just starring at you with that "please take me home, ill do anything" face. It is probably one of the hardest things for me, to see that and think of how horrible it must be to live in their shoes.

Please, urge anyone you know who is looking for a pet to consider us first, we dont have just 'old' dogs or cats, we see them from birth on up. These animals need homes horribly, the price is quite low if you consider the costs of all of the shots, neuter/spay, and rabies if you were to get it all done seperate at a vet.
