On the road again and at Jungle Jim

I am the Doggie Transport Guy. check out my website at www.doggietransportguy.com
It is my duty to help get homeless animals to either their new homes or to a rescue/shelter. I am willing to travel the distance.
I have traveled to many places. My first DTG trip was my first trip into Canada. I have been there well over 6 times now. Many of my doggie transports have taken me to Chicago (about 4 times now), New York, Harrisburg PA (about 7 times), North Carolina, Indianapolis, Michigan and all over Ohio.
I drive because I love it. It helps me to relieve my stress. I pick up the dog, get my directions, times, place, name of rescue and off we go. I usually listen to a book on tape.
I have many different authors I like to listen and usually I can finish a book in one trip. The dogs seem to like hearing a voice all the time and usually settle right down.
I love meeting new folks and seeing new places. And the fact that I am helping the animals makes it worth it.
Today, I transported a very nice black lab from our shelter to Cincy. I met with a lady by the name of Roncy with a lab rescue. She was a very, very nice lady. She thanked me for making the 2 hour trip straight to her place. She donated money for my next transport which was greatly appreciated.
With the dog now safe in rescue's hands, I was off venturing. I came up I-75 from Cincy to Dayton. I went to Jungle Jim for over 2 1/2 hours. If you can get there, go. It is like the best place ever. It is located at 5440 Dixie HWY, Fairfield OH.
Jungle Jim is a HUGE International Market. It is roughly 6 acres of food.
It is known as the theme park of food. The place is amazing. We are talking 70 ethnic sections in the store. Not one row, but a section for just about ever ethnic group out there.
Their wine section is HUGE. Over 12,000 different wines and staff who can help you understand them.
They have the Aisle of Inferno which is packed with every kind of hot sauce out there. More than 950 sauces.
Fruit that you have never heard of. We are talking over 500 types of fruit. 1400 different types of cheese.
Meat dept that is freaking huge. 22 types of sausages. I never knew there was that many.
There is a huge section for honey. Yes, just honey and anything honey.
The Olive Pit Bar has dozens and dozens of different olives from around the world.
And for the pet lover, there is 8 aisles of pet stuff. And these are not short aisles. From dog, cat, bird, you name it, they more than likely have it.
There is even restaurants inside of Jungle Jim's because you are so busy shopping and in awe that when the hungry hits, you need to eat.
There are some of the cutest and coolest displays. It is like King Island only with food. And don't forget to pick up a map when you go in or you will get lost.
I am being honest. This is a trip worth taking. And make sure to take money, because you are going to want to try a little of everything.
Jungle Jim's is just freakin' amazin'.

I had a great day with transporting a dog, meeting a very nice rescue person, and spending the day at Jungle Jim's.
