The current deliema. I LOVE DOGS! So why is that a problem you ask? Well, here is the problem(s) 1. I cannot resist a cute face or a critter in need of a home ie. shelter dogs. 2. I cannot afford them all (adoption fees, vets bills, food, etc) 3. I dont have the space in my house and minimal yard 4. I think Ruby would be most upset at me if I brought home another baby.

So. That being said. Table Mountain Animal Shelter has an absolutely BEAUTIFUL, actually I guess I should be saying, HANDSOME, male pit bull who is 4. His name is OJ and he is SO freaking cute. My husband keeps planting the idea of wanting another pitbull in my head. I know full well that we do not need another dog and that it would be in our best interests NOT to get another dog. So when I got home from the vet the other day with Tank, I was telling him the news and details. So the next day he says, "we should get another dog so that Ruby has someone that she can really be rough with and play hard with, since Tank really cannot handle it and shouldnt be doing it with his bad joints." WELL that got me looking and I found OJ. I have not visited him in Golden, CO for I fear that I will come home with him.

I want to volunteer at the animal house and have ALL the best intentions of at least helping them out with their Wish List and adoption events on the weekends, but I dont know if I can emotionally handle working with these animals and seeing the constant dissappointment on their faces that their neighbor shelter dog was picked and they werent. I breaks my heart to think of Rubia and Dewey, sitting, waiting patiently to find a forever home at the animal house. I just dont think I could handle NOT taking them all home to live with me. I would become a hoarder and than I would be doing no good at all! AHHH!!!

Alright, enough of the soapbox... I need to listen to that little voice, that says "Another dog is NOT a good idea and that OJ, Rubia and Dewey will all find wonderful homes"
