I have never kept a journal before, but what the heck... I am very excited and scared about the nearing of my first foal. I bought my mare in October and was told that she was not pregnant, but a few moths later...Oops! She is due any day now, and I pray that she does not have any problems...

Oh boy! How exciting, a new foal! I used to work on my friend's farm and her horse had a foal ( or philly, 'cause it's a girl). It was the most precious moment to see the mare take care of her little philly. They were so cute together. They named the philly Marquessa or 'Quessa' for short. She's grown now, but she was an adorable 'baby'!

I can understand your worries, and will be praying and keeping my fingers crossed for Gabby and her little one! ^_^

I am sure you can find other horse folks to talk to and ask what to do. This is an awesome group of folks on zootoo.

Thanks for your advise! I have just started to learn the potential of Zootoo! It does seem like a great place!- Lots of good advise, articles and a chance to share thoughts with other anila lovers!! Thanks again! Karen
