My dog knows what he likes

I get a phone call today..."Did you take Tank's new bed and put it on the couch?" This was strange, I bought him a new over sized dog bed and placed it next to my fireplace where he usually likes to lay down. Apparently this morning he took it upon himself to pick it up drag it up onto the couch and then settle in. When I got home from work yesterday I saw he had pulled his old bed out of his crate and dragged it to the end of a nice dark hallway where he went to sleep. It certainly seems Tank knows where he's comfortable!

Yeah,takes them awhile.
My Pug Gus did the same thing for a bit.I threw his crate out the door literally.I hate crates.He was almost crippled from one.I did keep his little bed he had in there for awhile as he got used to his new home.He would run to that and be alone for awhile ,I just gave him his space and waited till he grew out of it mentally.He had physically many months before that.
Poor babies.Lucky they found us.

Scent has got to be the strongest memory trigger. We all know Bulldogs are comfort creatures.

That is funny! My dog Nacho will pull his bed out and hop up and down on it like he's fluffing it up, but he's never dragged it anywhere else. I guess Tank knew exactly where to sleep and what to take with him to get comfy!

Too Funny- It seems like we think we know what is best, then they prove us wrong. Bear was moving his bed around, getting it all scrunched up. I said - That can't be comfortable so I smoothed it out for him. He gave me a dirty look and did it again. HUMMMMM..
