Looking For A Car On My Day Off Was NO Fun :(

I just spent ALL day and part of the evening looking at used car lots and it is amazing how it mentally and physically drained me!

I got it narrowed down to two almost identical cars at two different lots & each in a different city. So the two salesman kept playing the pricing war against each other. So back and forth I went trying to get the best deal which ended up giving me a major headache in the end!

Well, hopefully this coming winter will be a safer ride for me with my hour drive to and from work at least. I am hoping to trade my car in for an AWD SUV. I've narrowed it down to a Nissan Murano SL, so if anyone out there owns one and can tell me good or bad about it, I'd love to hear it. I have a lot of thinking to do but would like to make up my mind soon so I don't have to do this anymore!

Been there done that. I hate buying a car,it is so stressful. I have a 2006 Jeep Liberty. And I love it. It has enough room, and enough though it is SUV it is great on gas.I bought it at the end of 2006 , and got 0% financing. Nissian's are good cars too.

My husband is on his second jeep and he loves them even though the one he has now is horrible on gas. The one I looked at is mid-range for gas consumption but the safety features sold me.

For me, looking for a vehicle and talking to car salesmen rates right up there with going to the dentist!

Denise, I have no doubt that you will be able to make a sound decision! Nissan has some really awesom models and they are considered extremely safe vehicles! Good luck, my friend!

I've never owned a Nissan so thank you for the info. It did drive nice and they say SUV's are much safer than they used to be. Winter driving really scares me so this would make it a lot safer.

Congratulations on your new vehicle choice..
Nissan is suppose to be a good vehicle, but what you can do is go to the website www.nada.com and then click on the review tab and check it out there.
I know they are nice looking and Nissan usually has a good reputation.

Thank you very much for the info! I will check out the website. My last few cars have been a bonneville and 2 Buick Regals with turbo supercharged engines. My husband has a jeep Larado which I never drive so getting used to an SUV will take awhile but I liked how this one felt.

Winters have been so horrible lately around here and I had two many close calls last year.

I do feel so bad that I was gone on my day off when I could have finally been able to spend my day with my fur babies!

Good luck on making the choice....
