Well we went and done it!! My husband and I have been tossing around the idea of getting Zeb a play mate. Of course he wanted another Blue Heeler like Zeb ( I wanted a pug ). Well he got his way, our latest addition to our ever growing funny farm is Zoey-Jo. She was born on March 2, 2008. She is my perfect little baby girl!. My husband and the breeder had been talking for a few days, thanks to my son who gave my husband the newspaper clipping! and we picked her up on mother's day.
She is so full of life and her personality is one of a kind. She keeps poor old Zeb on all four paws at all times. I really wasn't sure what to expect from Zeb when we brought Zoey home. I was actually worried that he would snap at her or something along those lines. But it was just the opposite, he took to her like she was his long lost sister. It's a sigh of relief for us. I think Zeb will be a great teacher for her. He knows what he is allowed to do and not to do, so being her roll model should come easy. She follows him all over the yard and house and hasn't had any accidents yet. She watches him like a hawk.
I will be updating the Zeb and Zoey saga as they/we get more accquainted with each other!!!
