Kids' toy...wildlife orphans?

I was standing in line at walmart today, and I noticed that this little girl behind me had some stuffed animals. I glanced at them and then did a double take. They were the oddest toys I've seen in a while (well, I guess I don't really see kids' toys all that much, but whatev). They were called Furry friends or something like that, and they were little stuffed squirrels and chipmunks that were realistic looking, and they came with a little baby bottle. They had things on the box like, "it comes alive! Feed it from the bottle!" with a picture of a kid bottlefeeding it.
I just thought it was a strangely ironic toy...on one hand, I can see it being an educational tool for kids, but on the other hand the whole concept of the toy seems problematic. Sometimes "life-like" toys like that give kids the impression that if they ever found wildlife young, its ok to just shove a bottle with some milk in its mouth. That's always the biggest problem when people find orphaned wildlife....they try and feed it all sorts of things they shouldn't....hopefully these bizarre toys don't give kids the wrong idea

Sometimes dolls can be deceiving. Imagine my surprise when as an adult my boyfriend didn't look like my Ken doll! I wish my Mom had had a discussion with me. I'm still getting over it.

these are called FurReal Friends. these about 20 different ones, most being puppies and kittens but there are a few squirrels, monkeys and other wild animals thrown in.

This toy does sound like it might send the wrong message. Hopefully, live wild animals will scare little children enough to prevent a bad circumstance. Older children should be able to figure out the difference. And golly, maybe some parents might even take the time to explain to their child that they should never approach a wild baby animal !
