MAX

My husband suprised me by bringing home a little kitten for us. He had seen a sign for kittens in front of a local house. I am not sure how long he considered doing this before he actually stopped. We decided to give him the name Max. I went right out to Wal-Mart that night & bought a litter box, litter, scoop, a collar, kitten food, and toys. Max had full run of our apartment. Alot of times you could find him laying on top of the TV w/ his tale dangling in front of the screen! If he wasn't there he was curled up in our bathroom sink. Which was round so he fight quite perfectly. I have pictures of him in both places. Now at the time we were not allowed to have pets at this apartment. Bert decided he would just see if they would let us pay extra for having a kitten. That was something that was brought up at signing. So our maintenance guy told the office we had a kitten. Long story short Max got us kicked out of our first apartment because they would not agree to let us pay extra to have him. They made us move because of our tiny kitten who they said might destroy the place. Funny but at the time we were frantic as to where to move on short notice as it was not an option to give Max away. Once your in our family that is it. You aren't going anywhere. We found a duplex that didn't care if we had a cat & we moved. It was still close to work & we had a yard & no more lugging groceries upstairs anymore! Max got us kicked out into a better place! We love Max to this day. He is getting on in years but is still suprising us by his crazy antics.
