I just got a flyer from Simone's Support Dogs Therapy Program. They are offering a new class. BOOT CAMP! It is a cardio/core work out program that you can do with your dog. It is $100 for a 6 week program. You just have to bring a mat, treats and 3 lb weights. It actually sounds like fun except for the fact that my trainer would laugh . . she won't even let me touch 5 lb weights any more.

What will they think of next.

Sounds like fun to me. Abby sure coukld lose a couple of pounds but somehow I do not think she would cooperate.

Simone says she refuses to do military pushups so we are not sure we are going to sign up at this point.

My friends call my place doggie boot camp because it's the place to send your dog if it needs some training. It all started when I had my in-laws dog Barney (he went to Barney boot camp) and he had no training. After staying with us for a week, he was a different dog.

I've heard of doggie boot camp but this is a boot camp where you actually work out physically with your dog so you can get in shape. I just can't imagine how they do it??? Simone and I have put on the pounds though . .we probably need to go.

If it involves using your dogs as weights, I'm out. My girls are both a little on the large side. Imagine doing crunches while hold one of them.lol Let me know if you find out what is involved.
