Yes, it's a little egotistical for me to be posting about my own birthday, but it's a special time for me. I'm 31, and it's amazing to realize that I've shared my life with my dogs for 8 1/2 years with Suzuka and Miki, almost 8 for Akane, and 6 on and off with Perdita. I've volunteered with Charlyne's Pound Puppies for 8 years, and I will have volunteered at Austin Humane Society for 8 years this coming September. Wow!
