I never thought when we named Jenna that her nickname, well one of her many nicknames whould be Jen Jen. It is cute and normally it would not be a problem, but we lost Brenda to cushions a few years ago, Brenda was Baxters liter mate. Brenda's nickname was Bennie or Ben Ben. We tried so hard not to name Jenna with a "B" name so this exact thing would not happen. Most people catch themselves and call her Ben Jen, and I am sure she doesn't care. I just never thought it would be an issue.

It is sometimes hard not to slip and say the wrong name. My Abby looks very much like my previous dog named Angel. We lost Angel when she was 14 and got Abby a few months later. It is just coincidence that they look alike but Abby has been called Angel a few times. But she does not care.

That's very cute! I love it ROO!
Tori started calling Jenna "N" not to use Jen Jen. It's harder on the kids to keep bringing up the memories. When Jenna is flying across the living room in the air, doing a 360 off the sofa and you call her name, I do slip at times and call her Ben instead of Jen. Just happens. And yet Jenna is nothing like Brenda, I thought it was safe, guess not.
