My mom left me a message me on Sunday to tell me that a friend of a friend has 2 horses that she is giving to a good home for free.

Although I got a little excited about the message, and would love to get Sugar Booger a friend, realistically I can't afford another animal.

Currently Brian and I care for 7 dogs, 6 cats, 2 chickens, 1 horse, and a bunch of fishies. We barely make ends meet every month keeping all of our kids fed.

Soo...being the responsible adult I am, I didn't call her back about it.

The next day, Monday, my mom called to find out why I didn't call her back and I explained my reasoning.

Then my mom told me that if I liked the horse and wanted to take it, she would pay for everything and it could be my 11 year old sister, Alex's, horse! In exchange, I would teach Alex how to care for a horse and how to ride a horse.

Sweet!!!

At 11am today I am going to go meet Phantom. I am super excited!

If it works out, Sugar will finally have a horse buddy, and I will have someone to ride with me and share my love for horses. (At no added expense!)
