I don't understand

I belong to a couple of rescue groups here in Savannah. The other day I sent one of my groups an email telling about zootoo and how we can post our events on here for free. I got an email back telling me that we (our group) does their postings of events where they feel it appropiate and not on every website that pops up. I thought that was little strange. Maybe its just me.

I sent it out to the group, with the head of the groups e-mail for more info. I got another e-mail from them this morning, telling me that I can't use the e-mail list for my promotions. Sounds like someone got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. LOL

Sounds like they should be a little more open minded and perhaps do some research before ruling things out. Was your suggestion even put out to the group or could the person who returned your email be a bit of a control freak?
