Our morning walk/jog was slightly derailed this morning due to the abundance of rabbits in the neighborhood. We do not have many squirels to contend with so while we have been working on not pulling towards other dogs or people, we have not had too many encounters with small woodland creatures. The coming spring has changed that. Our neighborhood is over-run with rabbits and they have come out in full force with the nicer weather. It's a good thing we learned "leave it" in class the other night - now we have to up the practice sessions on that one!

Leave it and Wait are my two favorite commands and I use them all the time. It's good to practice both of those a lot.
When does Delta graduate?

Delta graduates next Monday! She has really enjoyed class and she (and we) have learned a lot. After a little more practice, I definitely think we'll sign her up for the next class.
