How He is Growing

A couple of months back I posted a journal entry about my new kitten Johnny that I adopted from the Dubuque Regional Humane Society. This is just a follow up to that entry. Johnnie is getting so big so quickly. I know how I always said the same thing about my children--"They grow up too quickly". Not only has Johnny grown in physical size, but he has grown in our hearts. He has blended with the rest of our cat family (4). He loves to play with his 4 "brothers", but his "sister" is still "stand offish". Just as any "teenager" Johnny is in to everything. He is learning gradually how to jump to tables and counters. Lately nothing is sacred from Johnnie. However, just as we did with our human children we correct his mis-behavior, but continute to love him dearly.
