About two years ago, I bought a Wahl pet grooming kit at Wallmart to save money on grooming my Cocker Spaniel. Though it kills my back to sit on the floor and clip him, I have become quite good at giving him a profesional looking cut and shave and It's not as hard as I once thought. (I have not invested in a table because the whole point was to save $$) The one big lesson I learned is that you can't clip a dirty dog. It really ruins the blades fast, and they are more expensive to replace in some cases than just buying a whole new kit with the electric trimmer included! Taking Parker to a groomer now is a treat for both of us, but as I live quite a distance from the nearest one, having a
clipper at home and knowing how to use it has been great!
