Gotta Love Shedding Season!

Time to shed the winter coats, sweaters, gloves ...and fur! Fur is flying everywhere in my house! My daughter was vacuuming and as she emptied the canister she said, "Look mom, I found our forth dog"! I got to work today and noticed I had Buddy's fur on my pants and said to a co-worker, "Didn't you get the memo..it's wear your dog to work day"! With three shedding dogs, you can only do so much and then you just have to laugh! I love my three babies, fur and all!

my guinea pigs, too. They laugh at me at work when they see the different colors of fur on me.

Yes, I need to bring mine out today. I haven't used it that much over the winter but definitely will be now!

uugghhhh no I hate shedding season. I am amazed though that Kayla has started shedding to bad YET.... lol... Worse part is she literally hates being brushed!!!!!!

I have spent the last to evenings brushing my girls and the hair is coming out in chucks. This morning, as I was putting my pants on, Dixie bumped up against me and I was covered in fur. SPRING IS HERE!!!

lol! When I'm getting ready for work in the morning, I keep the pj bottoms on til I'm practically ready to run out the door, then I slip on the dress pants! One of these days, I feel I'm going to be in a rush and get in my car and notice I still have my pj bottoms on!

I friend of mine came to work one day without her skirt. She had ironed her shirt and figured she would put it on before she left for work. When she went to get out of her car, she realized that she had just her slip on.lol Good thing she lived close by so that she could just drive home and get it.

I think all us animal lovers can easily be detected by the fur we carry around on our clothes. I still find a stray hair from our little scotty dog that passed away years ago. It will be in vase or something I haven't used for a while and of course brings back so many memories of Nessie.

Awww...That has to bring a tear and a smile! I'd want to gather them up and put them in an envelope like I did when my kids got their first haircut!

Denise, I recently purchase the furminator and mentioned it in a journal. Cully saw my journal and borrowed his Mom's based on what I was saying about it. Well, he loves it. He did a journal and Carol went and got one to do her doggies with.

It is truly an amazing tool. I got so much hair off of Kittles I would have been able to make another cat. And, since we've done him, we can pet him without getting a handful of hair. He is also not leaving as much fur on the carpets, our bed or his bed. Just thought I would let you know!

I have the furminator, which we use about once every two weeks and just a regular brush daily. I am going to start using a lot more often for awhile. You are right, it does do a great job!

I didn't realize you had it. But, now that they are shedding it might be good to do it more often. It is a wonderful tool! Good luck with all your fur! Gotta love our fur babies!
