Good Bye to Bob

Just this weekend a wonderful dog owned by one of DAWS very dedicated volunteers, passed away. "Bob" had come to our shelter about 1 1/2 years ago from a high kill shelter. As soon as Barb saw him she knew what a great dog he was and even though she already had 2 dogs at home, she took him into her home and heart. Last week Bob was diagnosed with bone cancer. Those that got to know Bob loved him and will miss him. Bob was lucky that he was rescued from the high kill shelter and brought to DAWS and found a loving home in the process where he could live out the rest of his life, but Barb claims that she was the lucky one because she got to spend the past 1 1/2 years with Bob - a great dog and family member.
