Fostering is Hard

Sassy Cat Wins my Heart
OK so I decided to foster a cat from the Humane Society. I figured this would be a way that I could help the shelter out. I just moved into town and have moved away from my puppies. I miss them dearly and wanted to have some companionship. So I foster Sassy - changing the name to Tunces the Wonder Cat. I have been giving her meds for the last several weeks, so her swollen lymph nods will go down, so she can be fixed. She has somehow wormed her way into my heart, to the point that I think I will need to adopt her. I always thought cats were independant and off to themselves, but Sassy has proven otherwise. She is the most loving cat I have seen. She is like a dog in many ways. She greets me at the door and follows me all around the apartment. She curls up next to me at night and she is just a true joy. So now I am going to have to find other ways to help the shelter. If I foster, I will end up keeping them all. I love the personalities of all animals they are our friends in so many ways. So before thinking about fostering - know that it is not as easy as it seems to give them up. I thought I could but was proven wrong.
