Oh how I love the sound of ferret talk. I know it might sound silly for alot of people to hear a grown adult to say that, but I got my ferret from the Animal Shelter and he had come from a home that had abused him. We werent quite sure of his age when we got him, but I've had him for almost 3 years. He is a dark eyed white and I thought he was deaf because he never made a sound. I mean nothing! One day about five months ago I was on the floor with him playing and let him climb up my back and onto my shoulders when all of a sudden I heard this dooking noise coming from him that threw me for a loop. (No I didn't hurt him) I was so happy! I let him finish his climbing and his talking and I ran and got my husband to hear him talking. well, Now Sugar Boogers won't shut up and it's Okay with us! I'm so glad he feels safe and Loved and knows that he will never be hurt again. Gizmoretta let's him roam the house and just gets out of his way and let's him play with his things. Sugar Boogers is slowly learning feret things like digging in dirt in the plants. He doesn't steal things yet, I guess it's because he has his own bedroom and he has alot of play toys. It is so nice to hear that dooking sound, but even if he was deaf, he still comes with the laser light, it would have been alright. BUT I SAY DOOK AWAY SUGAR BOOGERS DOOK AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!
