It's late and I'm tired, yet I know I'm going to have a problem falling asleep. My Hazel, who was sleeping near me, just got up and went into her bed in the bedroom. She'll sleep in it until I go in the room. Then she'll expect me to pick her up and put her on the bed with me. It will take her less than two minutes to get comfortable and fall alseep again.
I really do get jealous of how quickly cats and dogs can get comfortable and fall asleep. Some of the positions they get into are amazing.
I always love being at Little Shelter. I have seen some of the most amazing sleeping positions there. I'm always amazed how puppies and kittens can be piled up on and interwoven with each other and still sleep so peacefully. Dogs curl up or stretch out on their backs and cats squeeze themselves into anything they can and fall asleep.
I have no such luck. I toss and turn and, if I'm lucky, get comfortable enough to get a few hours sleep.
