Cocoa

I am a true horse lover. I sold my piano so I could buy a show horse. I have a horse room in my house. I have horse figurines, statues, wall hangings, saddles, boots, etc. I believe horses are power and beauty. ANd then, there's Cocoa. We got him in 2000. My son had just turned 4 and began showing an interest in horses. So, we decided on a pony. Cocoa is an Appoloosa pony. He is tan with brown spots. When we got him, we were told he was 6 years old. Well, to find out it was really 9 or even 10. Jeremy enjoyed riding him. You know, I mentioned the power and beauty of a horse, well Cocoa had only one speed - slow and easy. I realized that he was a big over grown dog. He loved to follow you around, play with a basketball and eat snacks. He would not flinch if you wanted to play on him or around him. And, when he got his bath, boy did he look GREAT!. He was a wonderful little dog, I mean pony. But, Jeremy grew up and Cocoa stayed a pony. So, in the summer of 2006, Cocoa found a wonderful new home with 2 other horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, etc. There are grandkids to ride him and play on him. He is living the life of Riley. We visit with him often...just the other day we saw him. He looks great. But, still the same Cocoa - slow and easy.
