Chester's stuff

Chester's stuff
Chester was my favorite dog. I was heartbroken when he died. I have never been able to part with some of his things. Here are his bowls, brush, favorite ball and his prize possesion...his kong. The kong was his last one, we went through several. The ball he had quite a few years. The bowls I purchased in 1987 when we first got him.

I TO STILL HAVE DOOGIE'S BED. HE WENT EVERYWHERE WITH ME .THE BED IS IN THE BACK OF MY DODGE. IV'E CARRIED IT NOW FOR 6 YEARS ALSO ON HIS ASHES I HAVE ON TOP HIS FAVORITE TOY I GAVE MY FAMILY INSTRUCTIONS; THAT WHEN I PASS OUR ASHES ARE TO BE PUT TOGETHER. OTHERWISE WHEN I SELL MY HOUSE AND BUY A SM. FARM AND I KNOW IT'S FOREVER I'LL FIND HIM A SPECIAL PLACE IN A GORGEOUS GARDEN!

That is a great idea. I buried Chester's ashes in our backyard under his favorite tree. Sadly, we don't live there anymore.

I saved all of Ashleys things too.Good thing I did, cause I had extra bowls and leashes for when the stray babies showed up.

That's a good thing! I don't expect any strays here, but you never know. Someday I'd like to have another Chessie. We didn't get one here because of the heat.

Chester sounds like a very special dog. You still have some of his things, so I hope they are good reminders of a dog you will never forget.
