I was voluntering at a Wild Life Rescue when someone brought this little pink thing there. She wanted the man that runs it to take care of it. He said he couldn't so I took it home. He had a water bottle as his water bed. He grew from this little pink thing unto this cute little squriiel. We had lots of fun. He posed in the little tree for me. He finally went on his own way

I had a similar experience, except I had three small pink "things". All three made it long enough forme to tell what they were. The weak little female died, leaving behind two big brothers. At the time we lived in the middle of a big city with lots of cars at our busy corner, so both lived in a large ferret cage in the house, but they eventually started fighting. We let the aggressive one go, and kept the tamer one. This little guy became part of my busy family. I was raising my four teenager children by myself, and we always had several kind of pets. Having a pet squirrel wasn't too far off from normal in our house. This little guy played in the cage, did tricks and performed when we sat down to the table to eat dinner at night. We eventualy moved out to a 26 acre farm, and knowing I could keep an eye on him, we let him go and he lived in the trees between the house and the barn. He would run up to you wanting food, drop on our shoulder from a tree at any time etc. Finally, I think the call of the wild came into play, because we saw him less and less as he spent time with a female he found around our house. I often wonder what happened to him. I know he gave us a lot of wonderful memories that we still talk about today. I am glad other people have shared this same type experience we did with our squirrel.
