I received a wonderful letter from a scout leader whose troop was taught by our volunteer teacher Joan. She was assisted by Bob and his assistance dog Efram, and PFP tyeam Maggie and Casey:
I wanted to write and thank you personally for setting up the Best Friends program last Saturday for our girls. The program was FABULOUS. Joan did an excellent job presenting and all the attendees (adults and young folks combined) really were very absorbed in the entire program. The discussion roused a lot of response and questions from the audience, and the presenters with their pets were so touching and informative. We all appreciated all the dog owners and their dogs being a part of the program. The service dog presentation for me was the most touching and really made the program even better. I will try to fill out the evaluation soon but I just wanted to let you know how we felt and give you and Joan a hearty thank you!
