Betty has her number! LOL

Boy, Betty really hit the nail on the head, when she said in her comment on my last journal entry, that Kelsie was spoiled, rotten, and a diva! LOL She is all 3 of those things, and mischievous, too. ^_^ I wouldn't have her any other way, she bring a very lively energy and a ray of joy to the house. She's a little clown, who enjoys making people lauhg and smile. You can really tell that, when she does something and we laugh, she does it over and over again. Her aunts call her princess Puggy or Lil' Miss Diva. She has it made here and LOVES it. She has a special bag, what we call a "diaper bag", for incase she has to go to a dog sitter, which 100% of the time is a family member. I don't like to leave her with someone I don't know that well. So her "diaper bag" usually contains: her night-night blanky, a fave toy or 2, special treats, Iams dog food, her special shampoo (just incase), some Skin So Soft wipes for her coat, her leash, a sweater or 2 (incase one gets dirty), and her comb & brush. The family thinks this is hilarious, but I think it's very NECESSARY. But she hasn't had to go anywhere yet, we usually have someone at our house to watch her so she can play in her own yard. She's used to her environment, and I don't like taking her anywhere unless it's necessary. Why uproot her, when she can be in the comfort of her own home on her fave pillow? So yes, she's VERY spoiled, but we did that, and we love her, and we wouldn't have it any other way! ^_^

Betty would definitely be the expert on this topic!!!

Just so you know there is a difference between spoiling and spoiling but trained. Seem Beagle Mutz, you are upset because my dogs are spoiled but trained. Yours are not spoiled, they are heathens. Witnessed by my husband when RayGun got on the kitchen counter not once, not twice, but three times in less than 5 minutes.

And from what it sounds, Kelsie would fall in the middle since in one of the journals, it was write Kelsie steals peanut butter sandwiches. And that would be the beagle part of her since I know for a fact RayGun stoled a banana once while on the kitchen counter.

And why have a dog if you can't spoil them.

You're definitely right, Betty. She falls right samck dab in the middle. She's trained but still has her own little agenda, at times! LOL I do have to agree the Beagle in her gets her into mischief quite often. Like, for instance, the trash can incident where she pretended to be asleep when I caught her trying to get into the trash. Or the peanut butter sandwhich incident. She's had several of these "incidents". You've definitely got her number. ^_^

The beagle part gives them a sense of humor! And Betty, there is nothing wrong with not having a military grip on the pack - they need to mature and explore things in their own way!
