betsy's story
2 comments
betsy is a retired racing greyhound. She was a winning racer when she had an ‘oops’ litter. Her owner thought it best to retire her. The kind people of greyhound outreach took her in and on leap day 2004 I adopted her. She has been a momma’s girl ever since. She is in training for the AKC’s good citizenship test then when she passes that she will become a therapy dog. next year she will be helping at the school library. There she will sit and listen to the kids read to her, and they in turn will be gaining confidence and self –esteem.
She is a wonderful ambassidog for the greyhound community even though she does thing everyone has been hired to pet and love on her, LOL!
