The Girls

It's a Saturday morning and the girls are raring to go - no errands to run and we started the day with a great walk through our back woods..
Next will be bath time as they decided a quick swim in the beaver pond was a great way to start their day ! - so I'm heading next to dig out shampoos and conditioners and brushes. Shed season is in full swing here and this will help us get going with the mounds of fur we have every spring. Nikk doesn't like bath time at all - will try to hide as soon as she sees the bottles come out but she does - as they all do don't they - LOVE herself afterward - I love the prance, the dance , the way they really show off the fact that they are clean and beautiful - or is that just relief that it's over? So here we go - off on a 4 hour bathtime:)

I gave baths to my two girls yesterday morning, too! Roz (the adult) begrudgingly hops into the tub and endures the bath with as much royalty as a wet German Shepherd can muster. Morgan (the large puppy) put up a fight about going into the tub, but once she was in, she was completely docile (as usual). They both look and smell much better! They get a bath once a week. None of us look forward to it.
