Mr. Gray is sweet. Since we have lived here over 3 years, he has been around. He is a stray/feral type, and he was so non-trusting for a long time. For some reason, he starting coming around my patio, and I don't know if it was because I had a cat inside. I only had Bailey at the time. I would throw out some food and notice that Mr. Gray was so hungry. After serveral months, he came in. He was afraid as you could tell he was not accustomed to coming inside. Bailey was happy! He just loved other cats!! I had held Mr. Gray, cradled him like a baby and I noticed he liked that. He had fallen asleep in my arms, and when he woke up, he freaked out! He attacked me, his claws embedded in my arms! After that he had not come around in a while. Months later, he came back. Skinny and worn. I fed him and he slept 7 straight hours! From then on, he comes over several times a week for a meal and a nap. My new cat Kirby does not like him! There is just something about Mr. Gray that really upsets Kirby. But Mr. Gray just likes his nap time and then he gets up ready to go out. He likes to be petted and he purrs and he loves to play. We're just doing what we can to make him feel like he does have a home if he ever wants to stay.
