We are all chatting about signs--I had a weird occurrence with a starfish. Pete had passed away a couple of months before this happened. Peter and Heather were getting married and I was in the middle of having the kitchen remodeled.

Peter and Heather had Seashore motif for their wedding and the centerpieces on the tables were these beautiful bowls that had sand, shells, starfish and a big white candle. They were absolutley beautiful centerpieces. Well, we were given a center piece and I was so excited with mine and couldn't wait to get it home.

My kitchen was all torn apart and I was having to keep all my kitchen stuff in other areas of the house. My kitchen table was in the living room. One morning I got up and started to have my morning coffee when I realized there was a starfish on the table. Huh--how did that get here? It was in the centerpiece...

I put the starfish back in the centerpiece and tried to dismiss the whole thing. Next morning--same thing. The starfish was on the table. Now, this was getting weird and kind of freaking me out. I put the centerpiece upstairs in Peter and Heather's room. Still--this did nothing. I would get up in the morning and the starfish would be on the table. I got sick and tired of this so when Peter and Heather came to visit I had them take the starfish home with them.

My table has been starfish free ever since. :)
