A quiet 4th!

So glad to be living in a quiet town for the 4th of July. We used to have to plan a camping trip to get Marley away from all of the loud and scary noises -- or we'd go up the dirt roads on the side of the local mountains and watch all of the fireworks from there; we could see at least 5 different displays on the valley floor. We'd pack a picnic dinner, see the sunset, watch the fireworks, and finally drive back down LATE. Unfortunately, the noises started weeks prior to July 4th, and lasted long after the holiday was over....
