Adventures

Jack and I made it safely back to Ohio and he was so good along the way! He didn't make a single peep the whole way until the last 20 min when we were stuck in Columbus rush hour traffic, but really I wanted to whine at that point too! He's been thoroughly enjoying having 5 extra people to pet him and pay attention to him too. Our cat, Chicago, wasn't super happy to see Jack, but he's made his peace with Jack and will at least sit in the same room as him.

I do miss the dog friendly-ness of Fort Collins. There are so many places to take them, so many good doggie daycares, and people just seem to understand dogs a bit better in Fort Collins. I did manage to find a good natural dog store out here that sells Zukes and Wellness. And today I found a great doggie daycare place where Jack can play once a week!

I'm even bringing my family around to positive reinforcement training. I think they thought I was crazy at first because of all the dominance things they've heard, but after watching Jack, they're starting to see the benefits!

I think overall, it'll be a great summer as long as we survive the mosquitos!

I know! I'm so so excited about Copper being adopted and to someone I kind of know so I can check on him and see him occasionally!
