I went to the shelter today to drop off some goodies I had picked up for the dogs and cats........Caroline was so overwhelmed that I just forgot about life for awhile and helped. Cleaned some cages and got to see 4 new kittens that were born yesterday! There are so many animals without homes. It broke my heart to leave but I know I'll be back tomorrow just to make sure those kitties are ok and to play with the lonely dogs and I get to do all of this because I want to!
