Spring fashion setters

I am going to try to post one small fund raising idea a week in the hope that one of them will be helpful. This weeks idea...
Hand-cat-chiefs and Doggie-do-rags
The spring weather seems to be the start of walk-a-thons, pet beauty shows and other outings. A lot of groups start to design new tee shirts to sell at these events. I don't know about you, but I have been buying these type of tee-shirts for so many years that some of them are getting old enough to join AARP. ;} I have also helped to sell them. You ALWAYS seem to run out of the most popular size (You get an extra supply of large shirts and everyone wants the tiny sizes. You get a bunch of small and medium and everyone just wants the big ones. You get a bunch of both of and no one wants any of them and you just get stuck).
I began to wonder what product line could be introduced to replace/add to the classic tee-shirt a few years ago. One day I was watching some thing on dogs and I saw the perfect item. Handkerchiefs! (A number of dogs had them tied around their necks) They don't cost that much and can be purchased in bulk. They are made of fabrics that can have designs printed on them. The best part...one size can fit all.
How about adding a line of hand-cat-chiefs and doggie-do-rags to your line of tee-shirts. People can wear them, tie them around a pets neck, use them as banners, sew them into quilts or even (shudder) blow their noses in them.

Well, I think that's a great idea. It also reminded me of when I lived in Minneapolis and the Twinkies were in the world series. EVERYONE had a "Homer Hanky" that they'd wave at the games.

That is one of the things that makes this a workable item. You can have a lot of them for all kinds of events/places/etc. You can collect them. They are small enough to mail cheaply. I could get a rare one/limited edition and trade it for one in another part of the world.
What was the idea that my little journal thing gave you. It was only a rough draft of a style that I have used for some very serious/technical pieces. What you read would be the introduction and a part of the conclusion. I used to drive my professors nuts using it.
