My daughter, Cady, has her 6th birthday coming up in January. We have been trying to play a party for her this year since she didn't get one last year. She has a guest list of about 30 kids she wants to invite. My daughter, the animal lover that she is, has decided to ask guests to bring an item to donate to the Humane Society instead of them bringing gifts for her. I know that my daughter is sweet, caring, and thoughtful but I am so touched that she would rather help out animals than receive gifts for herself. I am proud of my Cady...and very excited to plan her well deserved birthday party!
