The plans for Cady's party are well under way now. I emailed the BGWCHS (Deana) and she was nice enough to email me a list of supplies they are needing. I have a list all ready to be printed to put inside Cady's invites. I was really wanting to have a large party figuring there would be more donations. However, Cady wants her party to be at the bowling alley and it is $9/child. We had to narrow the list down to 13 kids. I'm sure she will get plenty of donations though. My husband told his employees at work about it and they are going to be bringing some items in for her too!
I am so proud of my daughter for wanting her friends to bring donations for the HS instead of gifts for her. She is so caring and kind. The thing I find funny is that she is more excited to drop off the donations than she is for her own party. She loves to stop by the Humane Society. I am glad that I was able to instill in her the importance of helping those who can't help themselves. She is a gem.
