We ran a cash for gold fundraiser last night and to my surprise wow both easy and successful. I would never have guessed but with the price of gold high these days, even a little broken or unwatned gold lying around brings in cash for both you and your shelter. We did not sell anything, a third party broker came in and weighed and paid cash to those who came with items to sell. People left with cash and the shelter got a percentage from the broker. Great easy fundraiser! Good luck.
