Tainted Pet Food Cases...

I am so glad that the settlement is over, and in favor of the pet owners of their poisioned loved ones! No amount of money can ever replace your loss or grief. My heart goes out to each and every one of of you. I can't believe we don't have stricter regulations about what is allowed in our pet food! Some of you may know me by my posts and/or replys about "The Truth About Pet Food!" The reason why is, I was shocked when I found out about the non-regulations about our pet food ingredients. I have a friend that heard on a radio talk show what quality of ingredients were actually in our pet food. He reserached around and found a reputable company that really cared about pets and what was allowed in their food.(they sell to the European market, which has high quaity standards about their pet food industry) Go to: www.healthypetsforever.com Click on the Pet tab, Click on the Video. After watching the video, go read the ingredients in your pet's food. Eutanized, diseased, dying (of what),etc. animals, chemical preservatives (such as BHA, BHT, Ethoxyquin (a rubber stabilizer used to make car tires), not to mention all the non human grade ingredients used in our loved ones food!!! I just want everyone to be knowledgeable about what they are really feeding their pets! The food or treats you feed them, could actually be killing them! When watching the video, pay attention to the warehouse situations going on, like pests, not climate controlled, how old your pets food is when you actually purchase it and feed it to your pet! Love to you & all of your loved ones!

Thank you for highlighting this. We give only human-grade food to our cats and dogs. Not only is it safer and therefore healthier, it is cheaper. There are no mysterious "fillers."

I was involved in the recall of the pet food last year. You can not imagine how much food I found and marked for destruction. I went into all the grocery stores and pet stores and there were pallet after pallet of food removed from the stores. I use and have always used Pedigree which was one of the very few that was not on the recall list. Even though this food was marked for destruction, who really knows what the did with it once it got back to the distribution centers. Did it wind up in Eukanuba or IAM's? Guess we will never know. From what I have heard the two above are some of the worse food you can buy for your babies.

Pedigree wasn't recalled? Sounds good, but I read the ingredients on their wet food and 'byproducts' was listed third!
