Well today I adopted a cat named Allie, she came from a friend who couldn't keep her anymore. She is about 6 years old and a medium haired calico. And is she loving! When ever I sit down she wants to be on my lap, which causes my other cat Dakota to have a fit because that is where she belongs! Since they are both female and about 6 I m hoping they get along.
Now for my question, Allie is actually obese. I mean she weights about 50 lbs, and can hardly walk. How can I help her to loose weight without Dakota having to be on the same diet. Dakota is a little overweight but not as big as Allie. I would appreciate any suggestions.
