Is Your Cat a Picky Eater?

Is your cat a picky eater?

While some cats have an appetite for just about anything (including your dinner), other finicky felines are more selective about what they eat. If a food hasn't made it into their menu of personal "favorites," they're usually just not interested.

Sure, you want your cat to enjoy what he eats. But the food you give your cat has a big impact on his health, including the healthy functioning of his digestive and urinary tracts. That's why it's so important that we give our kitties healthy foods.

Like most of us, you feed your cat a nutritional everyday food. But often we pay less attention to the nutritional value of kitty's treats. By its very definition, a "treat" should be something special. It should be delicious and fun to eat. But that doesn't mean it can't be healthy.

I sent my staff looking for a healthy and delicious cat treat. Dr. Debra Primovic, our Managing Editor, found a Bonito Flakes treat made by Cat-Man-Doo that looked really good so she tried it on her kitties. (Bonito is a medium sized fish in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Bonito meat has a firm texture and a darkish color) Dr. Primovic took the Bonito Flakes treat home and fed it to her cats. She thought they would like it, but she was amazed at just how much they LOVED it!

Why did her cats love it so much?

Well, when it comes to Bonito Flakes, the thing to remember is that bigger is better. Her cats loved these Cat-Man-Doo Bonito Flakes because they were big, fresh and plump - and that means they tasted great, which made her cats go CRAZY...

See it for yourself. Check out this video of a cat going crazy for his Bonito Flakes. Click on the image below to see the video of this kitty loving every bite.

One of Dr. Primovic's cats loved this treat so much that he learned how to open up the cupboard and take them out. Some of her other cats have learned to sit up and beg for them. Mission accomplished. We found another healthy and delicious treat that cats love and it has been added to our list of favorites.

Yes, this treat is tasty... but it's healthy, too.

So, with a big "thumbs up" from the Petplace.com vets, we've decided to partner up with PetProductAdvisor.com to offer Cat-Man-Doo Extra Large Bonito Flakes at a really great price. If you are looking for a healthy and delicious snack for your kitties you should give this delicious and healthy snack a try. Like anything else we recommend it has a 100% guarantee. If your cat doesn't like it, you get your money back.

Yes, your cat will love this tasty treat - but they're also good for him, which means you can love them, too.

Until next time,
Dr. Jon

I don't think I have tried those. I have tried other fish flakes before, which they LOVE. I have had several kinds of freeze dried fish treats too, they like any of them. They don't have anything extra in them, just fish. One brand they really like is WildSide Salmon cat treats, they make them for dogs too! Delicious!

Hmmm, I've never heard of that brand. I get mine at PetSmart and they have Whisker City and Cosmic Cat. They like both but the last time I bought the flakes they wouldn't touch them. I don't know if something was wrong with them but, they WON'T touch them!

Wildside was a brand that we bought when we lived in Washington state, since salmon is really big out there. We still order it for them online sometimes, but I have not seen them in any of the stores here. I don't know if the company is based out of Washington? I can't remember.

I have a picky eater so I am gonna check this product out. Our Sonny will only eat dry good period and nothing else except for treats. While the others enjoy wet food 3 times a day he will not touch it. Go figure!
