I recently became educated on feeding dogs raw diets, the way nature intended. As humans we have been eating cooked, procssed food for thousands of years...but dogs have only been eating it for about 50 years, when commercial dog food companies began. Commercial dog foods contian high amounts of fillers (grain, wheat, corn etc) as at least one of the top 3 ingredients. Dogs cannot digest grain it simply passes through the digestive system. Did you ever wonder why it seems the dog fecal matter is about the same as it eats every day! I know my dogs do. I am currently switching them to raw diets.
