Zeus's play group

Zeus, Kilo & Zone

We have a ton of dogs that live around us...But Zeus's favorite playmate is Kilo (pit mix)...He lives behind us....one trailer down. His owners, Sherri & Chaz are both wonderful...but Kilo LOVES Zeus!!! When they take him out for "potty"....he will bolt for our house...with his owners yelling for him to stop! He will stand under our living room windows and bark & whine till Zeus looks out! Then his owners grab him....LOL
Three times a week, when I have Zeus out playing fetch, their door opens....and out bursts Kilo running as fast as his legs will carry him!
Kilo now has a new little brother, Zone (boxer)....he was trying to get in on the boys games ...but couldn't quite reach the toy yet! I can't wait till a few months from now...watching them all play, should be fun to watch!
I am glad Zeus is finally learning to play nicely with other dogs....soon we want to rescue another large dog or pup....Then there will be 4 huge dogs running & playing! LOL

That is really great that they can all get along together...
Very important for animals to have the socialization of their own kind....

I agree....I have to be honest, Zeus always felt like he was "top dog" around others, so I am so happy that the neighbors got Kilo...it took Zeus a month to willingly play with him! And I was worried about Zone (boxer pup), but Zeus was very good around him! YIPPEE!!! I am finally going to look for another dog and not worry if Zeus is going to eat him! LOL I told the neighbors that it is not only wonderful socialization for the pups, but Zeus also! Progress....

Maybe Zeus finally felt like Kilo wasn't going to be a threat to him....

Both pups are males....and so is Zeus. (Zeus was neutered at 5 months) That is why I encouraged them to start playing....I am glad it is playing off! (By the way, I already gave them low-cost neuter info....always preaching!)

Awww...I think it's wonderful that Zeus has a friend to play with! btw the little boxer puppy is too cute for words!!!

I know...When they got him, he had to be bottle fed....now he's grown a bit! LOL I love watching them all play....can't wait till I get another doggie to add in!
