Well the noise is getting worse as the 4th gets nearer. last night and tonight the fireworks have been going off. Living not far from an Amusement Park they tend to get a little loud. The crew are all in hiding and I'm sure they can't wait for the weekend to end.

Happy 4th, Patty! It was surprisingly quiet last night....I guess that means tonight is when all the action happens. We're a few miles from the county fairgrounds so everyone takes off for the big fireworks there around 7:00 p.m. to get a good spot. Those are great...done by professionals. After around 10:00 or so is when the jackasses return and start shooting off the M80's....I don't get it.....with kids around, too.....

Patty, it sure must be difficult living in a highly populated area and near a park, no less. You babies are undoubtedly wishing for it all to end! Hope you and yours have a safe and wonderful holiday weekend!

Happy 4th Patty!
I have some idiot up the street(with toddler children BTW)that's been setting them off all week.Every thing from M80'2 to Rockets.
My poor animals have hated it.Now the Rabbits are diving for cover when they hear just a Motorcycle because of that guy.
It's almost over.....Geez!

I know all too well about the idiots! Right outside my window! LOL The "noise" will be over soon I hope as ya never know. Being right outside the city as well as not far from Kennywood my crew are in for it AGAIN tonight!

Happy 4th to you too Patty. My husband went to the fireworks last night with the kids . I heard the local fireworks off in the distance. Didn't bother Baby too much. Thank Goodness.

They get really loud around me with the park shootin off and then the neighbors "amuzing" their kids. Could have a "drive-by" and never know it due to the fireworks!

I heard one rocket of some kind go off late last night and I thought, "OH, NO!", but that was it... I'm sure they'll start again soon.

One?? Only one, lucky you! They go off all around me this time of the year not to mention the neighbors! Poor Mr Fluff was "hiding" from the noise and ended up getting closed up in the room for a couple hours. Heard some scratchin and thought one of them wanted in here it was him wanting out! Gram never gave it a thought one of them could be in the room when she closed the door.
