Who isn't familiar with Heinz Tomato Ketchup, made in Pittsburgh, PA?? It has always been my favorite ketchup and I hardly ever ate any other kind. (And when I did, I didn't like it.)

Last year I decided to try the Giant Eagle Ketchup and was very surprised--it is GOOD and not very different from the Heinz.

Years ago (and maybe to this day), everyone in restaurants would ask for Heinz Ketchup when an off-brand was on the table. Eventually, the restaurants got "clever" and started filling the plastic squeeze bottles with Heinz on the labels with a cheaper, less tasty ketchup. They didn't think anyone would know, but people who were raised on Heinz Ketchup couldn't be fooled!
