Can ANYBODY tell me why?

I have three cats, whom I cannot live without! They are all inside cats and I love them all. I got all three of them at the Parkersburg Humane Society. Last year, Isabelle (he's a boy!!!!)(we didn't know it when we got him, he was 5 weeks old and we continue to call him a "her") my black cat, started having trouble urinating. I took Isabelle to the emergency vet and they told me that she was blocked. Anyway $800.00 later, with new food, medication and regular visits, we had to have Isabelle's "penis" removed. It was our only choice! The vet told us we had two choices, put Isabelle down (never going to happen) or they could remove her penis and leave a space wide enough for her to go to the bathroom! Well, after surgery, God love her heart, we took extra special care of her. She is fine today, HOWEVER, now, everytime you pick Isabelle us and take him toward the door she urinates on me. Not only that, she will climb up on me and urinate!!!! No where else!!!! Just me!!! I have no idea why she does this. My daughter thinks that she is marking me,,,,or that she just wants me to know that now she can go on her own and that I will see it. Who knows? All I know is she will find me, try to get on my lap or just back up on my legs and "mark me"! I watch her go to the litter box just like the other two, but every now and then she will come to me!!!! I have never in my life seen a cat do this and I have had over 80 cats in my lifetime.
Anyway if anybody has any idea why this is happening or a similar story, I would love to hear about it. It is the craziest thing! We laugh now and say that Isabelle really is a girl now,,,,,,,,,(after the surgery) We love her and the other two cats, which by the way, both of them are also boys, but have girls names! Same thing happened with them, we thought they were girls when they came home with us. Oh well, they don't care. They have the best home in the world and all of them are our family. However, the middle child, Isabelle, is trying very hard to prove something, we just don't know what.
Anyone that has an idea, please feel free to share it.
Thanks!
